John Fisanich is no stranger to the baseball scene in Indiana County. A graduate of Indiana High School where he excelled on the baseball diamond; Fisanich then decided to continue his baseball career at IUP. A four-year letterman at IUP and captain of 1993 team, Fisanich was a pitcher on those strong IUP teams of the early 1990s. Fisanich continued his playing career after college with the local county sandlot leagues of Indiana and Fayette counties. Fisanich's resume is equally impressive on the coaching side. Fisanich has coached with Little League, Incorporated in Williamsport, PA. Fisanich has coached many years as a Senior Legion coach advancing his team consistently to regional tournaments. In addition, Fisanich was also the head coach of the Indiana High School team for two years. Fisanich served as a pitching coach with IUP for a year and also served as the pitching coach for Waynesburg University for two years. His experience coaching baseball players of all ages and skill sets is immeasurable. Currently, John is a corporal with Pennsylvania State Police and his stationed locally in Indiana where he lives with his wife Lisa and four children.
