Bobby played baseball at Blairsville High School from 2010-2013, he was a three-time Indiana All-
Gazette team member, All Heritage Conference player and the captain of the 2013 PIAA District 6
champion Blairsville Bobcats. After High School Bobby went on to play at Saint Vincent College before
transferring to Westmoreland County Community College to play for Mike Draghi and former major
league player and manager Ken Macha. Bobby played third, first, outfield and was a starting pitcher at
WCCC. He won team Most Valuable Player, first team All-Conference, first team All-Region, All-Region
tournament team and earned All-Region academic honors. WCCC gave Bobby the opportunity to earn a
scholarship to California University of Pennsylvania to play for Mike Conte who played in the Oakland
Athletic organization. Bobby played in 78 games for Cal, playing mostly in the outfield and pitching in
relief. He was also a PSAC scholar athlete and finished his senior year batting .375 with 96 at bats.
Bobby played in the Beach League in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2014. He played AAABA in Johnstown in 2015
where he finished third in the batting title race and earned a spot on the All-Star roster as a utility
player. Bobby played in the Great Lakes Summer Colligate League in 2016 for the Richmond Jazz in
Richmond, IN where he also earned All-Star status.
Bobby is an assistant coach for a team in the Johnstown AAABA league and will be coaching at California
University of Pennsylvania as a graduate assistant in the fall.
